Born in Erie on August 28, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Marchini) Angelotti.
Henrietta retired from Autoclave Engineers (now Snap-Tite) in 1983. She was very proud of having served several years, ending in 2008, as a member of the Greater Erie Community Action Committee Area Agency of Aging Advisory Council. She also volunteered for organizations including The Food Bank of Western Pennsylvania and Emergycare. Henrietta was an active volunteer and member of the GECAC Erie West Senior Center, where she truly enjoyed playing pinochle with her good friends there. She was also a member of seniors' groups at St. Paul's Catholic Church and Asbury Methodist Seniors. Henrietta was an avid computer user, corresponding with family and friends via email and Webcam, surfing the Web, assembling complex jigsaw puzzles, and playing games. She enjoyed many crafts, especially knitting. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Paul Ricciuti, who died in 1997, and her siblings, Palmyra Lazzini, Lena Scully, Margaret Simmons, Edith DiVecchio, Frank and Dennis Angelotti. Survivors include her children, Ronaleen Ricciuti Roha, spouse Thomas Arden Roha, of Washington, DC, and Robert James Ricciuti, of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kristin Michelle Roha and Matthew Arden Roha, both of Washington, DC; many nieces and nephews and their families, living all over the United States. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a service there Monday at 9:30 a.m., conducted by Msgr. Richard Stack. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Henrietta was a true Erie booster. She loved and was very proud of the city, but her favorite place on Earth was Presque Isle, which she visited nearly every day year-round. |
