Mary Patricia Macdonald Campbell, age 82, of Erie, passed away Friday March 5, 2010. Born April 11, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine Crimmins Macdonald.

Mary was a registered nurse that worked at numerous hospitals and nursing homes in Erie. Before her retirement she worked at the Soldier’s and Sailor’s Home. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards at the Erie Senior Center. She also liked gambling at the casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Campbell, in 2000; a sister, Francis Laviolette; and 4 brothers, Donald, Ronald, Jack, and Hugie Macdonald.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Walburn, husband George of Erie; 4 sons, Bruce Campbell, wife Charlene, Ken Campbell, Friend Cheryl Caribou, Allan Campbell all of Erie and Brian Campbell Friend YvJuanya Sadberry of Jacksonville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Billy Wegelin, Eric Campbell, and Jessica Campbell; a sister, June Baker, husband Andy, of Ottawa, Ontario; a brother, Charlie Macdonald, wife Ann, of Edmonton, Alberta.

Friends may call at the on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. at the A. Brugger & Sons Funeral Home LLP, 845 East 38th Street at Pine Avenue. Services will be held there on Wednesday at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
