          Frances Louise (Veroche) Ulrich, 92 was lovingly embraced by her dearly departed husband Gerald and led into eternal life on Tuesday November 21, 2017 with a gleam in her eye and a smile on her face. She was born to the late Valentine and Isadora (Johnson) Veroche on June 12,1925 in Riterville, Pa. she married her beloved Gerald (Ed) Ulrich on July 31, 1948 in the chapel of St. Bernard’s Church in Bradford, Pa.

          She was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn “Titter” O’Donnell.

          Frances was employed for many years at Carlisle’s downtown and Liberty Plaza. She was a past member of East Erie Turners and Siebenbuerger Clubs.

          She walked in grace as she lived her life creating a sparkle in the hearts of her family and friends. Her everyday life reflected joy. She found passion in the simple moments, spending time in her flower garden, experiencing the beauty of life with her husband, dancing at the Wintertime Balls, family gatherings with her children, creating memories with her family at the cottages at Pymatuning Lake, making mud pies, giving back rubs, watching her granddaughters play dress- up, haircuts in the kitchen, singing songs to her kids, sharing laughs while playing games and cards with her family and lifelong friends.

          Fran is survived by her 4 children; Sheila Connell (Michael) of Brookpark, OH., Michael Ulrich (Cindy) of Fairview, PA., Mary Drabina (William) of Wattsburg, PA., and Bernadette “Bunny” Carrig of Erie. She is further survived by her loving and devoted grandchildren; Michelle Connell Warncke (Lenny) of Columbus, OH., Elise Connell Benedict (Thomas) of Olmstread Falls, OH., Timothy Ulrich (Jennifer) of Erie, Amanda Ulrich (Sara) of Erie, Christopher Ulrich (Tina) of Erie, Valerie Drabina Dombrowski (Adam) of Columbus, OH., Ryan Drabina (Amanda) of Erie, Garrick Drabina of Wattsburg, PA., Justin Carrig of Erie, Stephanie Carrig McElhaney (Kevin) of Erie, and Sarah Carrig of Erie, one brother Virgil Veroche (Joan) of Berea, OH., as well as 10 great children, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and dearest friend Toni Oldach.

          We as a family can not thank the staff of Fairview Manor and Lakeland Hospice enough for the love, care, and empathy shown to our mother as well as all of us during these past few weeks.

          Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Services will be held there Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
