     Donna M. (Morrissey) Duska, 88, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, May 7, 2018.

     She was born in Erie, PA, daughter of the late John W. and Inez A. (Vandervort) Morrissey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Duska; brothers, Jack, Leo, Art, George and Tom Morrissey; and sister, Inez Morrissey.

     Donna worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Erie Technological Products. She was then transferred to Murata Erie in Atlanta, GA for several years until she retired and then returned to Erie. She was a lifetime member of St. Peter Cathedral parish and attended St. Patrick’s School and Villa Maria Academy. She dedicated many years to building her beautiful garden. She felt at home in her backyard and was well known for her love of gardening and flowers, as people would often stop by her house to admire them. She was an avid reader and quilter, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and cooking for her family. Donna had a deep appreciation for animals and never lived a day without a dog by her side.  She gave unwavering support to her family and loved watching her grandchildren grow up. Her grandchildren admired and loved laughing with “Grammie,” and claimed she made the best toast in the world!

     She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen Duska, and Peggy Bach and her husband, Brian, both of Erie; son, Tom Duska and his wife, Doreen, of Edinboro, PA; grandchildren, Kate Sabolcik (Mike), Ellen Bach (Lindsay Moore), Emily Duska (Dan Hughes), Rachel Duska, and Mike Duska.

     Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Home & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service at the funeral home on Friday at 12:15 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Peter Cathedral at 1:00 p.m.

     Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
