          Anatoly “Tony” Shchouchkoff, age 82, of Erie, passed away at St. Mary’s Home of Erie, Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Born in Kharkov, Russia, September 28, 1936, he was a son of the late Serge and Dora (Strunatz) Shchouchkoff.

          Anatoly was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He worked as a machinist at G.E. Transportation, retiring in 1995 after 33 years there. He enjoyed pistol target shooting. He also enjoyed watching his grandsons’ sporting events, feeding the birds and watching the news.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Barnes) Shchouchkoff, in 1995; a daughter, Natalie Shchouchkoff, and brother, Victor Shchouchkoff.

          He is survived by three children, Alice Partsch, Mary Shchouchkoff, and Anatoly “Tony” Shchouchkoff, Jr., wife Stacie, all of Erie; a brother, George Shchouchkoff, of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Roger Jr. (Jovieta) and Mary Pat Partsch, and Tyler, Zachary, and Benjamin Shchouchkoff; six great-grandchildren, Tywonn Jr., Corey, Roger III, Brennen, Nezi, and Zeph; and two great-great grandchildren, Tywonn III, and Talia.

          Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38th Street. Further visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in the chapel at St. Mary’s Home of Erie, 607 E. 26th Street (use Reed Street entrance). Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Erie Cemetery.
