          Timothy McGuire Holland, age 37, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born on May 29, 1981 in Erie, Tim was the son of David E. Holland, Sr. and Patricia (Patti) A. Holland.

          Tim graduated from Fairview High School in 2000, where he was a district champion swimmer. He studied at the University of Dayton and Colorado State University and graduated from Gannon University. He worked for many years at Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) as a Life Saving Provider helping clients enjoy movies, Otters and Seawolves games, outdoor adventures, and more.

          Tim enjoyed playing guitar and recording music in his basement studio with friends, golfing, and hiking and camping. Tim had a warm heart, a kind soul, and a quick wit.

          Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Adam B. Holland, and his grandparents Earl T. and Mary S. Holland and Robert J. McGuire. He was also preceded in death by his great-aunt Martha A. Schaaf, with whom he had a special relationship.

          He is survived by his parents, his brothers David E. Holland, Jr. (Lindsey) of Sewickley and Andrew R. Holland (Sarah) of Fairview, his grandmother, Jean L. McGuire of Monroeville, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Uncle Timmy is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews: Josephine, his dear goddaughter, Mary, Charles, Caroline, Thomas, and Eleanor. In addition, he is survived by friend Shantell Pulliam, who Tim served as a Provider through his work in the Life Sharing Program at EHCA.

          Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 7100 West Ridge Road in Fairview. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
